The building’s history is rooted in the peak of the Douro's port wine trade, originally serving as a private estate. The 2015 renovation by Clodagh Design fused the traditional Portuguese "Quinta" architecture—characterized by red-stucco walls and gray stone—avec a contemporary, eco-conscious aesthetic. It stands as a bridge between the valley’s rugged agricultural heritage and a modern, holistic approach to wellness and viticulture.
