Six Senses Zighy Bay

Located on the Musandam Peninsula, Zighy Bay is a reimagined Omani fishing village set between the jagged Hajar Mountains and a private white-sand beach. The architecture utilizes traditional Omani dry-stone masonry and sun-bleached timber to create a "rustic-chic" aesthetic that feels centuries old. The resort is famous for its sense of arrival—guests can choose to descend into the bay via a paraglider. It stands as a sanctuary of "barefoot luxury" in the Middle East, where the architecture intentionally avoids the glitz of the Gulf cities in favor of ancient textures and total desert seclusion.
