Perched on a narrow plateau 320 feet above the Pacific Ocean, this resort is a masterclass in "bio-mimicry" architecture. Designed by Costa Rican architect Ronald Zürcher, the building’s shapes were inspired by the shells, seeds, and butterflies of the local dry forest.
