Overview
Inaugurated in 1910 during the height of the Belle Époque, Grand Hotel Tremezzo was the vision of Enea Gandola, a local who sought to build a palace that could rival the world’s grandest resorts. Situated on the western shore of Lake Como with a direct view of Bellagio, the hotel remains one of the last true family-owned "Grandes Dames" of the region. Its architecture is a vibrant celebration of Art Nouveau, defined by its sunny yellow facade and sprawling "Parco Verità" gardens. For over a century, it has represented the peak of Italian high-society lake life, remaining remarkably vibrant and lived-in rather than becoming a museum of the past.
